Police in Kansas City investigating death inside apartment

(AP) - Police in Kansas City are investigating the death of man whose body was found inside an apartment as a homicide. Kansas City police say in a news release that the officers were called around 3:45 a.m. Thursday to an apartment in the Roanoke neighborhood and found an unresponsive man there. Medics declared the man dead at the scene. Police have not released the man's name or said how he died, but detectives said his death was not from natural causes and the circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious.
