Arrest in Carthage shooting

An reported accidental shooting was called into the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday afternoon.   

When deputies arrived at 459 West Church Street in Carthage they found a 36 year old female with a non-life threatening injury to her forehead.   She was treated and released at a local hospital.   

The deputies got a search warrant and found suspected meth and several weapons.   

33 year old Zachary Rosson of Carthage was arrested pending charges being filed.
