Philanthropic Society to announced grant recipients next week

The Joplin Regional Community Foundation’s Philanthropic Society will announce grants totaling $150,000 to three nonprofits serving the Joplin area on Tuesday, June 22.

The JRCF’s Philanthropic Society is a group of Joplin-area community members with a mission to provide high-impact grants to address red-flag issues.

For this year’s grantmaking, the Philanthropic Society has defined safety, wellness and readiness as its priorities, with a single $50,000 grant available for each category.

Over the past two years, the Philanthropic Society has awarded $225,000 to nonprofits serving Joplin, Webb City and Carl Junction.
