KBI investigating Coffeyville death reported on Wednesday

A death in Coffeyville, Kansas has prompted a death investigation by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Coffeyville Police Department.

The Coffeyville Police Department received a request on Wednesday from a citizen at 5:50 PM to check on the welfare of a resident in a Coffeyville neighborhood.

When Coffeyville authorities arrived at the location, they discovered a deceased male inside.

The KBI was requested at 6:30 PM Wednesday night.
