Pittsburg authorities dispatched to multi-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon

Pittsburg authorities responded to a traffic accident at 2:46 PM Wednesday afternoon.
A report from the Pittsburg Police Department says that vehicle one, driven by 52-year-old Pittsburg resident Patrick Commons, was driving Northbound on Joplin Street, when he struck vehicle two, which caused a chain reaction into vehicles 3 and 4.
Vehicles 2,3, and 4 were all stopped awaiting a traffic light change at the intersection of 4th street.
Commons was the only individual injured in the incident and was transported by Crawford County EMS to Via Christi hospital for treatment of his injuries.
