Governor Mike Parson explains why more vaccines are headed to urban areas.

During the mega-vaccination event happening today and tomorrow at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Governor Mike Parson explained why more vaccines are heading to urban areas.

"When we first started this, we knew we had a very limited supply of the vaccine. We were trying to spread that over the entire state on an equal basis. Everyone was going to be limited. But now when you go to rural Missouri, for the most part, they're going to be able to handle that on the local level through their pharmacies and health departments."

"Now we can start putting more resources into the urban areas where populations are larger."
