A stabbing took late Monday evening in Joplin.

Just before midnight Monday evening, Joplin Police were alerted to a disturbance around the 100 block of South Bryers.

Joplin Fire, Joplin Police, and METS ambulance all responded.

Reports say that a man was stabbed in the area and that he had been transported to a hospital.

One person was taken into custody.
