Joplin resident cited for DWI after crash.

After a single-vehicle rollover that occurred Saturday night right around 10:30, a man from Joplin was arrested and then freed.

32-year-Matthew Gibson was cited for DWI and Careless and Imprudent Driving and was released to his family the next day.

Originally, his vehicle was traveling west when Gibson left Fountain Road and eventually came to rest against a utility pole.

An off-duty Carl Junction fireman assisted with the rescue of the driver before authorities arrived.
