Joplin hospitalizations due to Covid-19 are seeing a decrease.

Hospitalization numbers for the Joplin area have declined over the last week.

As of Monday, there were 84 hospitalization Covid-19 patients occupying Joplin hospitals. These hospitals are comprised of Freeman, Mercy, and Landmark.

This number is down 22 from what was seen last Sunday, December 6.

16 of those hospitalizations have come from the city of Joplin, which is four less than Sunday last week.

The City of Joplin's face mask ordinance remains in effect until February 28, 2021.
