Highway Patrol releases figures on acccidents, arrests

The figures are in on accidents and arrests for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 10 fatalities, all in traffic crashes during this year's Thanksgiving holiday counting period.

That compares with seven lives lost last year.

The patrol says there were 321 crashes, 72 injuries, 10 fatalities, 100 DWIs and 78 drug arrests.

There were no drownings or fatal boat crashes.

This year's counting period ran from 6 p.m. last Wednesday to 11:59 Sunday night
