Pittsburg State University launches new program

Pittsburg State University just opened a new degree program focused on mental health.  The focus is going to be substance abuse, behavioral health, and other mental illnesses.  Students will get hands on experience working in mental health centers, and assisting with behavioral therapy for adults and children that suffer from addiction or depression.  In 2015, there were 20,000 behavioral analysts, compared to 150,000 licensed psychologists and 100,000 language speech pathologists.
