Fire hazards a concern for today

Today is NOT the day to have a fire.
The National Weather service issued a "Red Flag Warning" for today for all of the broadcast area.
With low afternoon humidity and the chance at gusting winds a fire could easily get out of control. Avoid burning outside, do not burn trash and by all means do not throw out cigarette .
The warning will be in affect until 6 pm tonight.
