32nd Street road construction meeting will be Thursday, October 15th

Property owners around the 32nd street area will have an opportunity to see the final design plans, construction timelines, and discuss utility relocations during a meeting coming up next Thursday, October 15th. Taking place in the Parish Center of St. Mary's Catholic Church at 3035 S. Central City Road, the meeting will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The project will widen 32nd street, from Schifferdecker Avenue West to Central City Road. The design includes adding a center lane and constructing a sidewalk-shared use path, while acquiring right of way for future expansion to a five-lane road. Funding for this project comes from the 3/8 cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax approved by voters in 2014.
