Body found in Newton County finally identified

The body found at 3517 Cherry Road in Joplin has been identified .The remains belong to Michael James Hall. Hall had been missing since July 14th. The remains had to be identified through dental records because of the state in which it was found.

The Sheriff Office is not releasing the cause of death at this time but it is a homicide and is being investigated as such.

The remains were found when Freddie Tilton was arrested on federal kidnapping charges at that location
