Autopsy confirms identity of body recovered from Elk River

Autopsy confirms identity of body recovered from Elk River

In McDonald County, an autopsy has confirmed a body recovered from Elk River Saturday is that of 51-year-old Daniel L. Maggard.

Maggard went missing from a campground near Noel Wednesday.

McDonald County Sheriff Michael Hall says the cause of death is still not confirmed although drowning is suspected.
