A motorcycle-car accident has resulted in injuries to a Joplin man.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 45-year-old Chad W. Holland of Joplin smashed into the rear of a car that was making a right turn on Highway 37 one mile south of Monett.

Holland was taken to Mercy-Joplin hospital suffering from serious injuries.
