Aurora man killed in single vehicle accident

A man from Aurora was killed in a single vehicle accident Thursday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 55-year-old John M. Young was traveling on Lawrence County Road 1010, about four miles east of Sarcoxie, when he went off the road and hit a bridge. His truck then overturned and came to rest submerged in water. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
