Webb City woman identified as victim of Joplin car crash

A woman from Webb City has been identified as the victim of a single vehicle crash in Joplin Friday night. Joplin Police say around 9:17 p.m., 31-year-old Brittney Hoffman was traveling east on 20th Street near Delaware Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and hit a retaining wall. A passenger in the car suffered only minor injuries. The Joplin Crash Team continues the investigation. Updates will be released as they become available.
