Sunday morning drug seizure in Baxter Springs

It may be Sunday, but that doesn't keep authorities in southeast Kansas and Baxter Springs from continuing the fight against illegal drugs.
A post on the Baxter Springs Facebook page says the Kansas Highway Patrol made a large seizure of methamphetamine near that city.
.The Baxter Springs Police Department and Baxter Springs Fire Department assisted in cutting open secret panels where drugs were hidden.
A total of 33 pounds of methamphetamine were seized.
