Woman Dies After Being Trapped Under UTV

A woman from Seymour died after being trapped under a wrecked UTV.

65-year-old Rebecca Tavares was discovered trapped under the John Deere Gator Monday morning on private property along Highway BB in Webster County, but she was already deceased.

Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol believe Tavares hit a fence post and overturned, causing her to become trapped, and it's possible she was stuck under the Gator since late Sunday afternoon.
