Kansas City Police Officer Hit By Drunk Driver

A Kansas City, Kansas Police officer was hit by a drunk driver while sitting in his car along side the road, finishing up a report from a previous crash. The crash happened just before 3 a.m Saturday morning on I-70. The department says the officer was treated and released for minor injuries. The name of the alleged drunk driver has not yet been released. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating.
