Robbery in Riverton

At approximately 9:42 this morning, The Old Riverton Store was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect is a white male, described to be in his mid 50’s , long hair, scruffy facial hair, approximately 6’1, 180 pounds. The suspect was armed with a shotgun and left in a late 90’s Chevy Suburban, light gray in color. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office at 620-429-3992.
