Teen Allegedly High On Drugs Sideswipes Tractor Trailer

A teen from Webb City is lucky he wasn't more seriously injured when he sideswiped a tractor trailer on I-49 while he was allegedly high on drugs early Sunday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Issac McLaughlin was passing the truck when he hit it and ran off the road. That happened just before 5 a.m four miles south of Neosho.
McLaughlin sustained only minor injuries. He was arrested for DWI. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The truck driver, 46-year-old Jeffery Stites of Neosho was not injured.
