Serious Injuries Following Hwy 96 Head-On Collision

A man from Mt. Vernon is fighting for his life after crashing into another car head-on on Highway 96 Friday morning.
The Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Shane Allen was passing vehicle when he hit 50-year-old Jefrey Parnell of Miller head-on near Miller just after 10:30 a.m.
Parnell sustained moderate injuries.
Allen has been hospitalized with serious injuries.
