Missouri Man Drowns On Current River

A 22-year-old southern Missouri man drowned after a tree fell on him while he was on the Current River.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Levi Mayberry died Friday when strong winds blew the tree hit onto his boat about 10 miles north of Van Buren.

Two other people from Van Buren were taken to the hospital for moderate injuries.
