Woman Airlifted Following Highway 43 Rollover Crash

A Cass County woman had to be airlifted to a Joplin hospital following a rollover crash on Highway 43. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG 28-year-old Derek Ramsey of Belton was northbound on 43 just after 4 o'clock Monday afternoon when he ran off the road, hit the ditch and overturned. His passenger, 51-year-old Melinda Ramsey, also of Belton, was seriously injuried and had to be flown from the scene for treatment. Derek Ramsey sustained minor injuries.
