Crawford County authorities investigate death

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death.
Crawford County Sheriff Danny Smith says his office received a report of a body located on property located at the northwest corner of 250th Street and East 540th Ave.(Quincy) at 6:17 p.m. Saturday evening.
He says deputies who arrived on the scene located a deceased male with his vehicle.
The cause of death is unknown.
The body was transported to Kansas City for autopsy and positive identification of the individual.
Sheriff Smith says no other details are available at this time, pending further investigation.
