Settlement Reached In One Duck Boat Lawsuit

The Ride the Ducks parent company Ripley Entertainment has settled another lawsuit related to the sinking of one of their boats last summer that killed 17.

Attorneys for Ervin and Horace Coleman filed a settlement notice with Ripley Entertainment last week, and the terms of the settlement remain confidential.

The brothers were among nine members of the same family from Indiana who died when the duck boat sank in July during a severe thunderstorm.

Several more lawsuits against Ripley and other entities are pending in federal and state court.
