"Rainbows for Veterans" at Neosho fish hatchery

Veterans who like to fish for trout are invited to take part in Rainbows for Veterans at the Neosho National Fish Hatchery  on Saturday, March 16. 

Free fishing will be offered from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to any veteran or anyone currently serving military. No gear is needed. Hatchery officials says you can catch and keep up to 4 rainbow trout.

You will need to bring proof of military service to the registration booth the day of the event. Families are welcome to come along to help or just to watch.

The hatchery is located at 520 Park Street in Neosho.
