Wanted Felons Run From Police Then Crash

Yesterday afternoon, a Cherokee County Sheriffs detective noticed a wanted felon riding in a vehicle outside of Galena. However, when the officers attempted to pull over the truck it fled leading to a pursuit.

  The pursuit went into Missouri and then back into Kansas and finally ended around the Kansas state line where the truck lost control and flipped over. The occupants of the vehicle then ran on foot but they were eventually caught by law enforcement. 

 Driver 24-year-old David Barber and passengers 27-year-old Kyler Lawrence, 39-year-old Leslie West, and 27-year-old Kenneth Thomas Ashburn are all facing multiple charges including drug possession and outstanding warrants.
