Teen Injured In Wreck Avoiding Dog

A Carthage teen sustained only minor injuries when she wrecked her car while avoiding a dog Wednesday night. The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Jenna Fosdick was southbound on County Road 130, a mile east of Carthage just after 5:30 p.m when she swerved to avoid a dog and ran off the road and overturned. Troopers say the use of her seatbelt is likely why she had only minor injuries.
