Body Found in Spring River South of Lamar Identified

Authorities have identified the body of a woman who was found in Spring River south of Lamar Wednesday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Nicole Shrock of El Dorado Springs ran off the road near I-49 and Spring River and landed in the frigid water. Authorities say she was able to exit her vehicle but was unable to get to the shore. No foul play is suspected and a formal autopsy has been scheduled.
