Pittsburg Police Investigating Shooting; Searching For Suspect

Police in Pittsburg are investigating a shooting and looking for a suspect.. Read the full press release below:
On Saturday, October 13, 2018 at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers of the Pittsburg Police Department, along with Crawford County EMS and Pittsburg Fire Department were called to the area of Quincy and Rouse Streets in reference to a female who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a female victim lying in a driveway of a vacant residence on the northwest corner of the intersection. The victim had suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to Via Christi Medical Center where she was taken into surgery. The victim's condition is not known at this time.
According to witnesses at the scene, the victim was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a white male. The victim had exited the vehicle and was arguing with the white male, who had also exited the vehicle. The male then allegedly shot the victim with an unknown type handgun, got back into the vehicle and left the scene eastbound on Quincy Street.
The suspect is described as a white male with a full beard and short dark hair, and was last seen wearing a blue button up type shirt. The vehicle involved in the incident was described as a black 4-door SUV, possibly a Dodge, with unknown tag.
