Mike Moon

Mike Moon, born on December 31, 1958, is a Republican politician currently serving as the Missouri State Senator for District 29. He previously represented the 157th District in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2013 to 2020. Moon, a native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in secondary education. He spent 27 years in marketing for Mercy Hospital and now raises cattle on his farm in Lawrence County.

Moon is known for his conservative stances, particularly on social issues. Moon and his wife Denise have five children and six grandchildren
