Biography
Hope Hendren Duke is a Republican serving her first term as Arkansas State Representative for District 12, which includes Gravette, Maysville, Sulphur Springs, Decatur, and Bella Vista. A graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Education, Duke has a background in real estate as an Agent/Executive Broker. She previously served on the Gravette School Board for six years until 2022.
In the Arkansas House, Duke serves on the Education Committee and the Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, and Legislative and Military Affairs. She has supported legislation related to education, including increasing tax deductions for teachers' classroom expenses. Duke has also backed bills addressing elections, criminal justice reform, and tax cuts.
