Pittsburg Police investigate stabbing

On Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at 9:38 p.m., officers with the Pittsburg Police Department along with first responders from the Pittsburg Fire Department and Crawford County EMS, were dispatched to 612 S Broadway in reference to a subject reporting to staff that he had been stabbed.
Officers arrived and located a 36–year–old–male with a non–life–threatening stab wound.
The subject was treated on scene and transported to Mercy hospital in Pittsburg. The subject would later be transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for more specialized treatment.
Officers on scene learned that the stabbing incident occurred across the street at an apartment during a disturbance between individuals. Officers located the person suspected of stabbing the other subject as well as available witnesses.
The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing and no arrest has been made at this time.
