Faith Assembly Joplin to host Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine

 JOPLIN, MO – Faith Assembly Joplin is honored to announce that it will host A Night to Shine, a worldwide prom experience sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Friday, February 13th, 2026.

This global event celebrates and honors individuals with special needs, giving them a night dedicated entirely to joy, dignity, love, and the recognition of God’s purpose for every person. 

A Night to Shine is held each year through a network of hundreds of churches around the world. The event brings together thousands of volunteers, caregivers, and community partners to create an unforgettable experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older.

From the moment guests arrive, they are welcomed like royalty–complete with a red carpet entrance, cheering crowds, formal portraits, limo rides, dinner, dancing, karaoke, games, and the signature crowning of every attendee as king or queen of the prom. 

“For many families, this night becomes one of the most meaningful and joy-filled experiences of their entire year,” said Pastor Grant Curtis of Faith Assembly Joplin. “We want to make Joplin’s Night to Shine bigger and more beautiful than ever-and we cannot do it without the support of our incredible community.” 

Faith Assembly Joplin is currently seeking sponsors, volunteers, in-kind donations, and media partners to help bring this life-changing evening to the Four-States area. Support from local businesses and organizations directly impacts the event’s ability to serve guests and their families at the highest level.
