Some area grocery stores open Thanksgiving day
A poll has found that most area grocery stores will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.
After checking with different locations, Joplin’s Food for Less will be open from 6 AM until 6 PM on the holiday.
Also in Joplin, G & W Cash Saver on Thanksgiving will be open from 7 AM to 3 PM.
In Pittsburg, Dillons is scheduled to be open until 3 PM on Thanksgiving.
Closed stores include Walmart, Target and Harps.
Check with your local stores for changes to open hours.
