Grove man found not guilty of murdering infant

A man from Grove, Oklahoma, has been found not guilty of murdering an infant.

After a six day trial, a federal jury in Tulsa acquitted 31-year-old Jordan Frazier Payne.

Payne had been accused of beating the 11-month old baby to death, who he was watching for the child’s mother that he was dating at the time.

The jury’s reasoning hasn’t been made public but they deliberated for less than a day.

He was found not guilty of Second Degree Murder in Indian Country and Child Neglect in Indian Country.
