Spiva’s annual showcase of members’ work is celebrating 78 years! One of Spiva’s original exhibits, the
work is a proclamation of our members’ hearts, minds, skills, and passions. Members present their best
work in this annual showcase of regional talent. Awards are presented for adults and youth categories.

The Hand Magazine is an international print and photography magazine based in Kansas City. This
exhibit invites the audience to contemplate the craft of artmaking and how individual artists express
themselves amid the persistence of AI, digital creation, and mass-media.

Larry Clingman Retrospective: The Collector’s Tribute | November 4 – December 20, 2025

Larry Clingman has always been an artist, drawn to the challenge of translating what he sees around him
into paintings that speak in their own visual language. His work reflects a deep fascination with
contrasts: shape and color, soft and hard edges, dark and light, solid and texture. Through this marriage
of opposites, he conveys his unique interpretation of the world, revealing the beauty he finds in
everyday moments. Neosho native who lives in Oklahoma now.

Create2Educate: Prone to Wonder | November 4 – December 20, 2025

Fundraiser & Reception: Thurs. November 6 | 5:30-7:30pm – note this reception is on a different day but
will be open during the opening reception of the other exhibits | Open to the public
100 children – 50 from Kampala, Uganda and 50 from Joplin, Missouri – have completed a small work of
art using a template of a sheep designed by Cindy Head, an artist in Webb City, MO. All 100 pieces of art
are combined into a single work titled “Prone to Wander.” Individual pieces will be sold to raise funds
for various programs that work with underprivileged children.
