Vision Carthage seeking volunteers for fall cleanup day

Carthage, MO – Vision Carthage is seeking volunteers to assist with a fall cleanup day ahead of Maple Leaf festivities.

Volunteers will be assigned tasks from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, starting on the square.

Activities will include planting flowers, picking up trash and assisting with a local cemetery cleanup.
Helpers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, but a limited supply will be available for volunteer use.

“We want to make Carthage extra beautiful before the Maple Leaf Parade takes place
next Saturday,” Sally Stuart, Co-Director of Vision Carthage, said.

“Thousands of people attend, and we want our community to shine for residents and visitors alike.”
