Jasper Days celebration tonight through Sunday

Jasper Days celebration is back from now through Sunday.

Jasper Days president Tonya Rice told KZRG:

“Tonight (Wednesday) we have our community worship in the park at 6 and then after that we have Jasper’s Got Talent which is the talent show that we are bringing back this year. And that will be at about 7, just right after the community worship at the park.”

Thursday morning starting at 9 AM a coin buying event will take place at the Junkin’ Jewel Flea Market.  You are invited to bring in your coins, paper money and precious metals for a free appraisal.

Thursday night at 6:00 will be a SMB Community Cookout 

Following the cookout, Hayrides & S’Mores night will be hosted by First Baptist Church.

Next events will be held on Saturday, September 27th starting at 7:30 in the morning.  The events include:

7:30 AM – 10 AM       VFW Breakfast

9:00 AM                     Baby Show at the park

10:00 AM                   Little Miss and Mister at the park

11:00 AM – 5:00 PM    VFW Auxiliary’s Craft Extraatanza

2:00 PM – 7:00 PM      Outdoor vendors and food trucks

3:00 PM Parade

3:15 PM Kid’s pedal tractor pull

3:30 PM – 7:00 PM Bounce houses

4:00 PM Pickleball tournament

4:30 PM Cake walk

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM Pet costume contest

6:30 PM Cornhole tournament

7:00 PM Live music at the park

Sunday activities include the Charles Schlichting annual memorial tractor pull starting 11 AM.

All of the events are taking place on Grand Avenue in Jasper.
