Officer-involved shooting in Miami

There was a police involved shooting in Miami, Oklahoma over the weekend.

Miami police received calls of a car crash. When they arrived, a suspect fled the scene of the crash and ran into a house about 3 blocks away.

The suspect then emerged from the home with a gun to his head and threated suicide. Police told him to drop the weapon at which point the suspect pointed the gun at officers and exchanged fire.

The suspect was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
