Save-the-date for MSSU’s 2025 Homecoming

Joplin, Mo—MSSU is thrilled to announce the 2025 Homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The parade in downtown Joplin will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. All float entries must be decorated according to this year’s theme of “Once Upon A Pride.” Cash prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250 respectively will be awarded to the top three community organizations with the best floats.

Kickoff for the MSSU home football game against Missouri Western State University will be at 2 p.m. with the winners of the float contest announced during halftime.
