Highway Patrol makes arrest in Lawrence County

A man from Mt. Vernon was placed under arrest in Lawrence County around 1:40 Saturday morning.

The arrest was made by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Patrol’s online arrest report says 38-year-old Health B. Rutledge was arrested on several charges including:

* Felony – restinging and interfering with an arrested for a felony;
* Felony DWI -Aggravated offender;
* Driving 26 miles per hour or more over the speed limit
* Driving without a Seat belt
* Careless and imprudent driving
* Failure to stop for a stop sign
* Failure to stop for an emergency vehicle and;
* Driving without a valid license.

He was taken to the Lawrence County jail on a 24-hour hold.
