Wyandotte Oklahoma couple to serve time in federal prison for child neglect

A Federal Judge has declined a plea agreement for a former Wyandotte, Oklahoma Special Education teacher and her husband convicted of neglect of their 15-year-old special needs child.

Agreements made earlier this year had recommended 52-year-old Keith Enyart and 45-year-old Jennifer Enyart serve no additional jail time.

But U.S. District Judge John Russell on Thursday rejected that agreement.

Instead, each of the convicted offenders were sentenced to 18 months in federal prison.

They will also have to serve three years of supervised release when their sentences are over.
