Military Appreciation Day Sunday at Missouri State Fair
Step On In to help us honor the brave men and women who have served our country on Military Appreciation Day, sponsored by GoNetspeed, Sunday, Aug. 10, at the 2025 Missouri State Fair.
Special promotions and activities are planned for the day including:
- Free gate admission for active military, veterans and delayed entry recruits with appropriate I.D. $1 admission for immediate family members (spouse & dependent children)
- Military Exhibits in the Mathewson Exhibition Center and a Resource Fair in the Assembly Hall throughout the day
- Quilts of Valor Presentations in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- 135th Army Band Concert in the Mathewson Exhibition Center at 12 and 2:30 p.m.
- Military Flag Retreat Ceremony, sponsored by Capital Materials, Starline Brass, Retrieving Freedom, Inc. and GFL Environmental, at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Historic Administration Building
- Vendor and Concession Discounts: Discounts at select concessions and vendors (Some discounts may only apply to military personnel)
- Military Carnival Coupon – $5 off unlimited carnival ride wristband for military and immediate family, purchased at the Fair, Aug. 10 only, with coupon available at admission gate
- $5 Gate Admission after 5 pm – Come to the Fair after 5 p.m. and pay $5 gate admission, Aug. 10-14 only
