Man with long history as sexual offender indicted by Federal Grand Jury

A man with a long history as a sexual offender in Oklahoma has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma.
53-year-old Mark Joseph Vossler, a transient, is charged with failing to register as a sex offender from March through July 2025.
Vossler was convicted of sexual battery in 1993 and sentenced to five years in prison.
In 2006, he was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender and given a five-year suspended sentence.
He was arrested in 2013 for rape and other crimes in Tulsa.
The U.S. Marshal Service is the investigative agency for the most recent indictment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michele Hulgaard is prosecuting the case.
