Cassville daycare worker charged with assaulting infant
A Cassville, Missouri, daycare worker is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted an infant.
The Barry County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Brittney Ann Lassiter slammed a 20-month old girl down into a sleeping cot.
A probable cause statement says a video shows the young girl’s body bounced off the cot and she started to cry. Lassiter told her not to move again and covered her with head and body with a blanket.
She was booked into jail on a $15,000 bond.
