Political advisor Will Westmoreland to speak at library on Friday

Are you a rural voter in Missouri with questions on how the new policies of the Big Beautiful Bill might impact you? Well, political advisor Will Westmoreland has those answers for you.
Westmoreland will be holding an event at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the Joplin Public Library to help bring rural communities together in times of uncertainty.
“So, he’s doing a little campaign tour right now where he’s going around and pretty much wanting to bridge the divide and find some common ground between local and rural communities and where he can talk about policy impacts that some farmers might be feeling, or just help with understanding of what’s exactly going on from his perspective,” Event Coordinator for Indivisible Joplin Bradley Bos said to KZRG. “And we’ll be doing like, a Q and A at the end where if anybody does have any questions or anything and we’d like his insight on it, he’ll be able to answer that and whatnot.”
Will Westmoreland is a political consultant as well as a farmer out of Springfield as well as the host of the Back Forty podcast who advocates for rural cities and small towns, giving them a voice to be heard on policy making and such.
“He’s trying to reach out to people on both sides of the aisle, whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent,” Bos said. “He’s not really focusing on a certain political party or otherwise. He’s just wanting to get Americans out to where they’re active in their community and wanting to make sure everyone’s informed, especially in rural cities, on how certain policies might actually affect them on a federal level.”
